The Twin Cities Arts Reader is an online arts and lifestyle magazine serving the greater Twin Cities metro region. Since launching in August 2014, the Arts Reader quickly became the premiere destination for performing arts coverage in the Twin Cities. Our extensive theatre coverage is a particular strength, and is greater than the combined coverage of the Star Tribune and Pioneer Press.

We believe in providing detailed and informed coverage of local issues, developments, and happenings in the performing arts, visual arts, and lifestyle fields. Our coverage draws more than 300,000 readers from across Minnesota, neighboring Wisconsin, northern Iowa, and North and South Dakota. Many of our features on topics of general interest have attracted readers from as far away as Australia, Germany, and South Africa.

The Arts Reader, or TCAR as we sometimes refer to ourselves, is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in the neighborhood of Bryn Mawr.
