PREVIEW: Flourish! Resource Fair – for Artists and Creative Entrepreneurs

Tomorrow, Springboard for the Arts hosts its second Flourish! Resource Fair. This half-day event is designed as a resource forum, clinic, and networking event for artists and creative entrepreneurs. Programming includes informational sessions about artist organization resources, healthcare, funding, tax preparation, and artists’ services. Staff representatives from 26 organizations will be available for one-on-one consultations :

The day’s programming includes 4 free  workshops:

  • 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Health Insurance primer
  • 12:15 PM – 1:00 PM: Crowdfunding panel
  • 1:15 PM – 1:45 PM: Health Insurance primer
  • 2:00 PM – 2:45 PM: Artists in Education panel

On the medical side, the clinic includes all-day access to free blood glucose (diabetes), blood pressure, and chiropractic health screenings.

Free, but with advance registration requested. The Flourish! Resource Fair takes place on Saturday, January 23 between 11 AM and 3 PM at the Grain Belt Bottling House, 79 13th Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN. Springboard for the Arts’ Artists’ Access to Healthcare (AAH) program is made possible through the generous support of UCare.
