PREVIEW: 2016 Fall Wine Tasting @ Chanhassen Dinner Theatres Lifestyle by Twin Cities Arts Reader - October 21, 2016October 21, 2016 The Twin Cities have hit peak foliage, but there’s still time to enjoy a taste of fall before winter strikes. If your preferences run in a vintage vein, say of the quaffable, liquid sort, you might want to think about what you’re doing next Thursday, October 27. That’s when The Vintage and Chanhassen Dinner Theatres team up for the their 2016 Fall Wine Tasting. What do you get at a wine tasting? Well, if you swallow instead of spitting the samples, you get a very heady time quickly. That would be a shame, because this event features some 200 wines – very good odds for speed-dating to find the bottle (or bottles – no judgment about your lifestyle choices) that you’ll take home with you. Throw in some cheese, crackers, and miniature desserts, and you can safely sneak a few swallows of the wines that you’re thinking about courting in the privacy of your home. There’s even a souvenir wine glass that you can sneak home to join you. You can even take a trip to Camelot before hitting the road (showtime at 8 PM). — The 2016 Fall Wine Tasting takes place on Thursday, Oct. 27 @ 6:30 PM at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres (Chanhassen, MN). Tickets are $20 in advance/$25 at the door; includes souvenir wine glass. As of press time, there are 17 remaining spots available.
