The Guthrie Theater will hold a free open house at its iconic downtown Minneapolis structure on Saturday, August 27 from 11 am to 3 pm. The day’s activities and program include: Peeking into Guthrie workshops on a self-guided tour. Curling up in a storytelling corner to hear a tale told by a Guthrie artist. Letting your imagination run wild at a mask-making station. Tapping into your talent in a mini-class for teens and adults. Theatrical magic on the Guthrie’s signature thrust stage. Snapping selfies using Guthrie costume pieces and props. This event is free and open to the public, and ASL interpreters and audio describers will be available through Access Services.
