Loring Park is one of the definitive summer hangout spots in the Twin Cities, with its gentle slopes and winding paths becoming home to numerous festivals when the weather’s warm. This weekend, the Loring Park Art Festival fills those paths with hundreds of works of art available for viewing and sale, plus live music, food, and other attractions. The 140 artists presenting work at the 2017 Loring Park Art Festival include eight featured artists: Sarah Chapman, Holly Foss, Katharine Gotham, Jill Hunter, Bruce Kaupanger, Andrea Martin, Andrew Shea, and Mike Welton. The festival runs Saturday, July 29 and Sunday, July 30 at Loring Park in Minneapolis. Here’s a look at previous festivals: Photo by Brooke Nelson.
